Introduction

Essentially, I create custom and useful pieces of art from simple blocks, and even logs, of various woods. I work on a lathe (a machine used to work the wood, which holds the material and rotates it about a horizontal axis against a tool, such as a chisel) to make everything from pens and pencils to table legs and pepper grinders. I also make ornate, custom boxes, including jewelry boxes, poker chip boxes and gift set boxes.
